The practice started when you felt prompted to roll out your mat. It was emotional first. Then it was physical. And in the process of the movement and the breath, as you began to open those tight spaces, something begins to shift, not only in the body but deep in your soul. The perspective moves from the sore body to the wounded heart. Before you know it, you’re not moving to strengthen the body, but your soul.
And in the midst of that, He speaks into the broken and bruised places, and healing begins.

Little by little.
Every movement matters.
Every breath counts.

And then you lay yourself out in full surrender ... And you get up changed. Not because you moved your body, but because you moved your gaze. You’ve been on holy ground.
That’s why we practice.
